The Awards of Excellence recognize women for outstanding volunteer service in Oklahoma. Honorees make up The Societies of ºù«Ӱҵ University, which have raised more than $5 million for ºù«Ӱҵ University since 1988. More than 130 women have been honored with Awards of Excellence in that time, and proceeds from the awards luncheon support academic programs and student scholarships at ºù«Ӱҵ.

The luncheon is traditionally held every spring and features performances from ºù«Ӱҵ arts students.
